The newest Baumer highlight: ultrasound sensors with a response time of only 1.3 ms. That is up to 10 times faster than previous ultrasound sensors and makes them comparable to optical sensors, making the preconception of slow ultrasound sensors a thing of the past. These ultrasound sensors are specially designed for the detection of fast-moving, transparent and closely spaced objects even in easily soiled surroundings.
